I was doing seo for one of my websites, approximately 300 links per week, for one month with low competitive keywords (very low).
But the problem that, when i check my website after first week my website was at 5th page, and after one month it is still on the same spot.
Can any body tell me that why my website is not moving at all.
hoping for some serious advice

Note: My website was nowhere with that keyword when i started working on that website

You need to be getting quality links from a range of different sources. It's all well and good building 300 links, but what kind of links are we talking?

For all my sites I really like to mix it up and I have my own strategies to get me to page one. It's all about consistency. You won't get to pagw 1 overnight but as long as you are using a range of links and are building consistently you WILL move.

Check your On page SEO is up to scratch too, as this is also very important.

Many people believe forum profile links are dead. I think they still have some value but as mentioned earlier... you should really be using several methods for backlinking and mixing up your anchor text occasionally to make it look natural.

Are you checking whether or not your links are getting indexed? Profile links don't usually get indexed naturally.

Forum links, profile links, etc. are all good, but for SEO purposes they are only counted by Google as long as they are not behind a password protected barrier. If you have to log in with a password to post that link, Google isn't going to see it. You'll want to make sure you factor this in. Good luck!

  • You need to get a wide variety of high quality backlinks, and then, if possible, backlink those backlinks using your targeted keywords as the anchor text.

First of all, how old is your site? If it is new, it can take some time to move around. Secondly, are your backlinks actually showing up and getting indexed? If not, then they don't count in Googles eyes.

have you check if the links are indexed? If they are not seen by google, you will not be credited with the link power.

I agree with those who suggested you to get links from different sources. In this way, there's a big chance that you can get good quality backlinks for your site.

To be honest it sounds like you're using the wrong links or link building methods.

Too many enements should be considered, backlinks resources, backlinks qualitiy, anchor texts, etc. And to be honest, one month is not a long period for SEO work, maybe you should be patient and keep working on your website, magic will happen.

You are focussing too much on un-natural link building methods.

Do proper SEO and you will get the results.

You should do daily directories for that keyword which you want to see on first position.. In the other hand increase keyword density on ON page SEO..

If it was just a month ago since you start building backlinks for your site, then that's probably nothing to be worried about. That's just so normal. You just have to wait until your site starts to move in SERP. There are no good rankings that can be easily obtained with just an overnight of link building.
