NEED HELP IN SEARCH

Hi everyone,

I am a newbie at seo, I own mobymemory.com, a online retailer of memory cards and have had enough of people ripping me of in seo, so i have decided to do it my self. there are just a few things i wanted peoples feelings to:


1) is ezn the best place to submit articles
2) are articles the best way of ranking and getting back links
3) and what else you would recomened,

we have started a blog on blogs.mobymemory.com

and so on

    Ok, obviously there is a little more to SEO then this, but basically it comes down to 2 factors. On page SEO and Off page SEO. On page is setting up your site correctly so that it's optimized for your chosen keywords. Off page is usually backlinking.

    What you want to do is focus on getting quality backlinks from a wide variety of source. Not just article sites, or only social bookmarking sites, rather get a variety of different platforms.
    Then work on getting these links indexed so that Google finds them and ensure that they have the anchor text of your keyword.

    Sounds easy when you put it like this, but essentially that is what you need to work on.

    thanks for your info, and i will work on that, in regurads to getting quality back links, i have seen a few places ware they will feed back links in your site for a set fee, is that better or doing it your self.

    also i am thinking of moving from asp to php, any way of me keeping my ranking that i have
