I am new at IM and just want to know what methods u apply to drag traffic to ur site...? I think u use......

1) Social networking sites. Build friends. And invite them to visit ur site.
2) Post videos to tube sites and invite people.
3) Write articles and Press releases and then distribute.
4) Forum comments.
5) SEO

Using all of ur replies I want to rewrite my list.... Feel free to add more if u know......

2) Post videos to tube sites and invite people.
3) Write articles and Press releases and then distribute.
4) Become active in a few forums related to your niche. Great way to build a list. (Thanks to JSProjects)
5) SEO
6) Write some free ebooks and distribute. (Thanks to EE)
7) Put advertisement on other relevant websites that are getting good amount of traffic. (Thanks to Maximum117)

    If you need quick traffic, become active in a few forums related to your niche. Great way to build a list. Your traffic will be extremely targeted, so your opt-ins should be pretty high.

    Creating relationships is most important and most difficult part of SEO. As most of the Experts in the field won't get impressed too quickly. So, the easy way would be getting traffic by free ways and easy ways in start. Once you develop your reputation, then people will follow you.

    You have mentioned some of the valuable traffic generating tips. I would like to add one more. If you can offer some kind of informational ebook, give away, it will bring good traffic.
