So as you guessed I'm going after Global users in this campaign. This is something I would bet most online marketers overlook.

My site is only a month old and I'm already ranking very nicely in the U.S.

My question is how do I get better rankings in countries like in Europe, Australia and the rest of the world? Do I have to build lots of backlinks to every country that I want to rank in? For some reason I thought my U.S. rankings would simply carry over into other countries, but that is obviously not the case.

Does anyone have any advice for getting in international SERPs? Do standard tactics work at all? My rankings are great in the US, but I'm ranked like #128 in every other country.

get links from sites in those countries. glad to see you realize there is a difference. Just a few days ago you had people claiming that you don't need to have links form anywhere else but the US to rank at a foreign datacenter.

hmm thats interesting i never though. i have about it that way. i was always wondering what would be the best way to monetize global traffic. especially for product names. sometimes the global match is higher than a local match for a product name.
