Backlinks Question

Hello Warriors,

I'm new to SEO and I'm just curious about building backlinks. I outsourced at Odesk and there are so called "SEO Experts" that saying they will deliver my website to top with Profile Signature backlinks.

My question is what is more powerful backlinks, a 1000 Profile Signature links or 10 EzineArticle links? Which will give my website a strong backlink?

A 100 PR 1-4 Blog Comments or 10 Press Releases?

And my last question is, how will I find or how do you find blogs that allows Guest Posting? Does it need any software to look for those blogs?

    After the panda update, your best bet to stay in the game for long is to build unique backlinks. Of course, you can manually find blogs to guest post, or you can find a service like BMR.

    I think ALL sources are important, you CANNOT isolate 1 source saying it is the best. If all your links come from article directories, you will not rise my friend. (Anyway article directories are becoming less and less important).

    So try to build backlinks from following sources:
    1) Blog comments
    2) Guest blogs
    3) Article dirs
    4) Pad file submissions
    5) Podcasts
    6) Web 2.0 properties (hubpages, squidoo)
    7) Forum profile links
    8) Social bookmarks
    9) PAID = Blog networks (linxboss, linvana, traffic kaboom, etc.)
    10) Directory submissions
    11) Press releases

    Did i miss anything?
    Anyway, so only when you spread your backlinks everywhere, and at quality sources, will you see good rankings.

    I think the first thing you should focus on the content of your website, onpage optimization factors so that the best, then you or like conducting offpage effectiveness of SEO will be higher
    The best links are links with high PR and is google good reviews, but like it will backlink to your website effectively over.

    Well! profile links are not good stay away from them. Try to use methods that will take some sweat and elbow grease. Guest Blogging is the most powerful way to get backlinks and also participating in various communities and forums. Do not go for spammed blog commenting.

    Profile signature do contribute a lot in improving your backlinking structure... But when it comes to comparing backlinks from different sources, there are so many things to check.

    Website's reputation, its relevancy, whether its dofollow or nofollow etc.

    And if you are asking about Ezine (specifically), Ezine links are nofollow now.

    Depends on the niche of the website actually.. Though ezine back links are surely good enough in my view.. Rather than back linking madly, try to build links in the related business sites, it will drive some traffic too..

      High quality links are much better than high quantity links.
      if you do 1000 Profile Signature then it's possible all will not catches by search engine.

      Now, Google display news from good press release sites. so it is helpful to get more traffic via google news.

    There are various methods to generate one way backlinks. Like article submission, forum submission, bookmarking, comments etc. However, the most valuable are the quality links from websites or blogs which are high page rank, backlinks from websites that are relevant to your industry, websites direct from the homepage of a website or blog, website from the header or the body holds the maximum importance.

    Sign up to MyBlogGuest - you'll be able to announce your guest posts in the article gallery, and bloggers will come up and pick them.
