blog comments and my link pop question

Hey Warriors of 09

got a quick seo question:

I've got a local moving company blog, some body keeps linking to it in a comment, at first I deleted it but he keeps doing it. (probably a script I know)

his site isn't really relevant to mine, the relevance between his and mine is a stretch. (sorta, well it could be)

My site is a wordpress.com blog:
Frederick Maryland Moving Companies

his is here:
Statistics to consider for moving to Frederick Maryland … | homelessloan.com

(he gave me a track back)

is it gonna hurt me seo wise to authorize his persistant comments to my site?

one of the keywords I'm after on my moving site has to do with relocation and mortgages are relevant to moving... his site claims to be about loans ??

should I keep ditching him or is it gonna help us both or is his site going to bleed my google juice?

I don't know enough to decide, any direction would be very, very much appreciated

From your description, it sounds like his activities are not respectful of your site or your time, so based on that alone I would not accept his comments at all.

If your comment links are dofollow, then it really will not harm you SEO-wise except 'leaking' PageRank from your pages to his. And as I said before, if his comments aren't useful, then why give him that small benefit?

You might be able to block his IP. I believe there is a plugin for Wordpress that either lets you automatically assign an comment from a particular IP or User Name as spam so that you don't have to deal with it every time. Sorry I can't be more specific.
