Recent Google Panda Update has sent a large number of websites plummeting down the search engine rankings. I believe that smart business owners and webmasters will eventually observe Google's strict requirements and make the necessary changes to their sites to please the algorithm, What you all say about this ?

I say don't start threads just for the sig link. The name is a bit of a giveaway.

The major update is not that recent and is changing all the time. Also this is a subject that has been discussed to death and you will find that all opinions have been given elsewhere on this forum.

And those large numbers of websites were replaced by the exact same
large numbers of websites that skyrocketed. So? Funny how that works out.

If you were disappointed in your results today, lower your standards tomorrow.

Interesting how we see people just complaining about losing search result
ranking but a few body reported increasing in search result ranking.

The number of losing and gaining websites must be physically equal
      and balanced.

50% had their sites rise in rankings or stay the same.
The other 50% come to the WF and complain about how panda
        is hurting everyone.

Google Panda adds an entirely new element to Google's ranking methodology.
Panda wants better quality websites in its results. It is less concerned with signals that other websites give it and more concerned with what the actual users think about the website. Think of Google Panda as an automated way for Google to have users power its search results. The brilliant part is that it is user powered without the user having to do anything different. Panda is not only genius, but it makes sense as it should prevent lower quality sites from tricking Google into thinking they are of higher quality.

Google's aim from the very start is relevant search, so this is one way of weeding out those that got to first page just because of low quality and irrelevant contents.
