I just started using the SEO by YOAST plugin for wordpress and, jeesus, I am happy. It covers what I've been using at least four other plugins. Before I was using All in One SEO plugin but this is way better.

Thought I'd share this with y'all
#plugin #wordpress #yoast

All in one SEO is better than Yoast, it will keep you in Google on long term bases compare to yoast and platinum seo plugin

What does that even mean? Your post makes no sense.

I was responding to the post made by "epathj" so don't judge, if you prefer yoast then it ok but for me, I prefer all in one SEO plugin

I'm not judging. I'm just saying that when you say it will keep you in Google on a long term basis makes no sense. Your on-page SEO doesn't even have as large of an effect on the SERPs as your off-page. As long as you are hitting important things like title tags, heading tags, alt tags and some internal linking I think whichever plugin you choose should work just fine.

And what evidence do you have for such a wild claim?

I made the switch over to Yoast a few months ago and I'm very happy. Not much of a difference results wise. But, I think that Yoast is a bit more user friendly.

I don't see any benefit at all since i've been using yoast plugin!

When creating a new page, inserting all the required details etc then publish, only 50% of the time google will index it will the details, description etc i inserted! very annoying!

Are your descriptions relevant to your content?

I've seen the same problem/situation when using All in one...There must a reason why google does this regardless of plugin...but i don't know what.

Doesn't matter if you're using Yoast or any other similar SEO plugin.

Google determines whether it will use your meta description or an abstract from your article in the SERPs.

Google usually show my meta description when it's relevant to the searched phrase, e.g. containing the word itself.
