Exact Match Domain in Competitive Niche vs Domain with Keyword in...
- SEO |
Just a quick question...
I'm just wondering how much extra value should be given to having the 'ultimate' exact match domain.
Say for example I sell bedroom furniture (I don't, but this is just an example!) and BedroomFurnitureShop.co.uk is available to register.
On the other hand BedroomFurniture.co.uk is for sale (it's not, but assume it is for this question!) and could be purchased for a £5000.
The domain has age, PageRank and backlinks and would also be seen as the 'authority' domain when dealing with prospective joint venture partners etc. You can't get a better domain in the UK for this competitive term.
How much better is it to have the exact match domain vs registering a domain with the keyword in but also with an extra word.
I'm just wondering how much better the more expensive, but real exact match domain would be?
Thanks!
Phil
