Who says you can't manipulate Google +1

Somebody just submitted an article to one of my article directories that linked out to this site:

http:// googleplus1supply . com/

(no affiliation)

...and the race is on.

This is why Google + will not save search.

There is no metric that cannot be manipulated...FYI

    Because people don't research (or read) what +1 does.

    The only way it may work is if REAL friends do REAL searches,
    by chance, for something EXACTLY that you have liked. Add
    the fact that you must be logged in, and the whole +1 mania
    falls apart.

    Fake friends doing fake +1's have no effect on real SERPs.

    To pay $249 for 1,000 +1's is lunacy. And it will have ZERO
    effect on SERPs, contrary to the big fat lie it touts:
    "Skyrocket your rankings overnight."

    The completely give a bogus description of +1:

      For now at least...The use of metrics change. Google is testing the waters with this.

      In all probability, it will be used differently in the future...

    It is strange to even think that it will have an effect. Only in very local, local scale.. like for example I live in a country where everybody knows everybody. One day I'm going to start looking for real estate.. most probably there are certain simple keywords which I will be using and definitely my friends have +1'ed those links. I take the +1s into account and might choose the one which has more, since I know that people who I know think that it rocks.

    Otherwise it is just another quality signal like Facebook share and Twitter Tweet, good to have them but doesn't play a major role.
