Hi Guys! Please explain to me how the flow of pagerank works in this era with so many updates on Google?

So as with the SERP ranking factors that carry the real value that would bring your site on higher ranking.

I'm just finding a hard time with this matters. Please put a light on it guys....

Thanks in advance!

PR plays a part, as do several other things.

Google has always told webmasters to not worry about
PageRank. Worry about making a great website that
is valuable to your visitors. Nothing different.

Updates are more like attempts to take out the trash.

I have never understood the mania over google "updates."

Not sure I completely understand your inquiry, but I'll try to bottom line it for you.
PageRank is more or less a popularity rating based on a site's backlinks.
Each time a site links to another site it feeds the site that its linking to a little bit of it's own "link juice" (assuming it's a dofollow link that is)
The more juice a site has the more popular it is and the higher it's PageRank will be.
The higher a site's PageRank, the more juice it pours into the sites that it links to and the more popular they become and so on.

As far as SERP ranking goes, PageRank isn't the only determining factor.
PageRank is more of a product of a well built, high ranking site than the reason for it's success.

As Paulgl said pr rankings is less important today but still part of SEO, and we must focus on how we can put our sites in the first page of the search engine. SERP matters most in terms of promoting a website.

PageRank isn't the be all or end all, but it is a rather good judge of the trust rank and overall quality of a domain or website.

PageRank is only one variable in the Google algorithm, but its a good indicator of what type of rankings ARE possible if you know what your doing and have a decent PageRank to start.

Pagerank is the value assigned to your site/page and it also contributes to your ranking in Google search engine. But pagerank is not the only factor contributing in search engine ranking.

    Thanks
