I had to try this a couple times to make sure it really worked like I thought it did. Sure enough it's getting me multiple first page Google rankings
within hours every time.(low competition keywords)

The Secret Sauce:

http://www.blogger.com
Digg
FeedAgg.com

Find any product that is just hitting the interweb (like big guru launches) and write a quick 500 word article about their product. Make sure you use the product name or your keyword about 2-4% of the time (or 2-4 times per 100 words)

Paste that article into a blogger blog but make sure the blogger blogs URL is exactly the products name and make sure the blog post is also.

Now Digg that new blogger blog
Now submit the RSS feed of that blogger blog to FeedAGG

Make sure the title of your digg has the product name as the first words in the title. Then make sure your description has the product name as the
last words of the description.

To find more new products that don't have a lot of competition yet us JVNotifyPro 2.0 and CBENGINE(it let's you find new clickbank products).

You have to be the first ones to do this and it can't have already been hit hard by the other guys who know how to do the web 2.0 stuff.

So it's best to focus on brand new clickbank products and ones that are not in the "make money" niche.

Anyhow - I hope it helps anyone. If I find any other cool stuff I'll let you know.

Enjoy

Jeff
P.S. Yes I know this is simple, but it WORKS and it's a good basis for newbies who are just learning SEO - or for those that want quick rankings for low competition keywords

There's a difference between getting some rankings and making money.

I like your idea in relation to CB but not JVNotify launches.

The reason is CB products will be around a while.

With the IM product launches you see a ton of people working the SEO as soon as the upcoming launch is announced, and then the launch may only be for a few days, then you're done

So not only are the product launch rankings difficult, but it's short lived. And of course you're trying to write about a product no one has seen

    It's a brutal treadmill.

Hmm... Little or no competition means... little or no competition. I hope we all see this for the true revelation that it is.

I guess this means that Google's system of crawling the web to find new content is working. Kudos to Google, they do a great job.

I've found that if I get in FIRST, often my blog stays ranked and i get in a few sales. Also, if i get my site up BEFORE the 'others' start, it usually stays for a bit with a few backlinks once it's ranked - just sayin.

This wont get you page 1 for "lose weight", but it's good for a quick jump on a new product launch.
