Hello WF,

I am new to Link Exchange, I have got many emails asking for link exchange on my PR 2 blog. They ask for my Title and URL to add the link.

I dont know how to exchange links and does it harm the SE rankings as I have read link exchange is bad for seo.

Please guide me Step by Step in link exchange!

Thank You!

Well, In current scenario search engines don't link direct link exchange and paid links, But if you still want to do link exchange, try to have 3 way link exchange

Two way links are pretty much worthless nowadays, a few years ago it worked, but not anymore.

You need quality one-way links to your site via blog commenting, article marketing, blog networks, directories, etc.

Stay away from 2 ways, single link ins are the ones to value

Link exchange (or reciprocal linking) is the exchange of back-links between two websites with mutual consent. It’s like, A is linking to B and in return Bis linking back to A.
It makes search engines look upon your website with suspicion because it reflects manipulation. I would encourage you to look out for other methods like guest blogging or blog commenting to get organic backlinks instead..

Thanks for your replies! I guess I should concentrate on getting Genuine One Way links instead of exchanging!
