Market samurai rankings question

I have been constantly checking my rankings with market samurai (trial version) and scroogle, and there are significant differences. Market samurai ALWAYS shows me ranking higher, even than in my own browser; my question is how does market samurai check the rankings ? Does it use a server, no cookies and all ? Also, what could be the explanation for the differences ?

I am not 100% on the methods of MS, but I find them not to be too far off over time.

Are you searching from your home? Not in the US?

You could also be searching from a different data centre than the one that MS searches.

These could be why you are seeing differences. I wouldn't sweat it and just keep doing your SEO.

Badly. Very, very badly. There are far better tools for tracking rankings. MS is useless for that.
