I see one person selling 10,000 profile links for just $20! No way this is manually done.

I highly suggest avoiding the profile link pyramid. Maybe use them as tier two links, but I wouldn't use them as tier one links. Web 2.0 would be a lot better.

And, no, generally profile links are not manual, although some are.

If they are not manual, what software do they use then? I got away from profile links because they were a pain to set up all the time. 20 minutes for ten links sucks when I can read a lot more blog posts and write good thoughtful comments faster with more of a success rate.

I am curious because I don't have a great diversity of links right now.

To be honest, I'm not really sure about a software b/c I have never been too big of a fan of profile links, especially after Panda. I'm sure you could find one with a google search. Maybe something like, "profile link blaster" or something similar.

I would use it responsibly though. Link diversity is great, but 10,000 profile links is obviously, as you mentioned, not natural. Just drip feed them a little at a time, preferably to your second or even third tier.
