Question about link wheel

This is my link-building plan:
- create a WP blog, article on a high pr directory, a hub page, and a squidoo lens
- Have all of the above link to my main site
- Have my WP blog link to my squidoo lens as well as my main site
- Have my article link to my hub page as well as my main site
- Blast my WP blog and article with hundreds of social bookmarks and other article links
My question is, will this leave a footprint? (Please don't answer unless you're sure and know what you're talking about).
