We need more information to be able to help you. Which keywords are you targeting? How old is the website (not just the domain)? Have you made any changes to the site recently?

Nobody here could possibly know because we have no idea what
you did, your client did, your history, the site's history, or
        any thing else.

But the one person that should is you.

If you don't know, why are you taking clients?

Google does not have to love your pages all the time.

I think I have seen these posts before....

Seems to me if one targets Nigeria, one should have a .ng
        extension.

Why not scoop up some of that 4-1-9 money? Okay. Bad joke.

Hey Paul keep your expert advices to your self and your self righteous attitude. You are not the one who should decide whether I should take clients or not and for every one else

The sites were ranking on the first page and even on 1st position for some keywords like compare prices in Nigeria, Best Deals in Nigeria, Buy Laptops in Nigeria Buy Generators in Nigeria but from two days site is not appearing anywhere in search results. All the linkbuidling is done by me and I am very confident that it was clean. i reckon may be the site is only 2 months old and don't have much content. Can this be a reason of penalty. I also reported to my client that many of the web page of the site have similar title and meta tags I asked him to use canonical or robot.txt but he said I guess this can also be a reason. What do you think?????

Whether you take clients or not gives everybody in the biz a bad name.

Repeat: If you can't figure the same stuff out as has been told here, then...
what are you taking clients for? On the job training?

You should stop, do some research, maybe even here at the WF since
this seems to be your encyclopedia. Or give the people a cut.

Of course you are confused. Why not admit that to any prospective client?

Seriously. I guess that 4-1-9 SEO course did not work out.

Just running your site through SpyGlass, it looks like a lot of links that you had, no longer exist. 56 of the 93 backlinks that SpyGlass found, actually had no link back on the web page. That could be a reason behind your rankings dropping.
Because most is pure spam. And this guy has clients? Come on.
Adds value to the page? Yeah. Says who..

Instead of taking clients, send people to the Mike's at the WF.

Not trying to start a fight in here, but I do agree with paulgi's sentiments. You have to remember when you are taking on SEO clients that you are playing a huge role in the success, or sometimes failure, of their business. You are playing around with their livelihood.

Now I know there are a whole bunch of "gurus" stating that anyone can do offline marketing and you don't need to know anything to get started. In fact, in just a few short hours you can be collecting $5000 checks left and right.

I think that is complete BS and trash that they are spreading. You should use your own sites first and get a real understanding of what you are doing before you go testing things out on someone else's business.

And I'm not singling out umrbd here.

There is a lot of this going on all over the place.

These offline "gurus" are mostly clueless about actual SEO. I just received emails from two of them (I really need to clean out what lists I am on) telling me how great .edu links are and trying to get me to buy someone else's .edu WSO (for which they are obviously affiliates). If you could read these emails and hear them gushing over .edu's like a teenager fumbling over his prom date's bra strap, it just makes them look so foolish. I won't release them here because I'm not going to out anyone.

Hard to say without more information.

What kind of backlinking have you done over the last weeks or so?

Any scrapbox blasts? Blog comments or forum profile blasts?

Get a specific as possible and we'll try and figure it out

Yes without more information its impossible to tell what happened to your site. Is it possible you backlinked to heavy to a site that's only 2 months old? And when all of the backlinks you sent out got indexed your site got penalized?

My backlinking was purely clean I didn't spread any kind of spam all I also didn't rush to make only backlinks with dofollow. I made backlinks with nofollow tag and sometimes I posted link behind my name not keyword. All my blog comments and forum posts were relative to the content and added value to the webpage. I used only white methods like blog commenting, forum posting, directory submission, article marketing, web 2.0 marketing, bookmarking and through social media. I am very sure about my link budiling I am known for it in my community

How long has it been off the search results?

It could be going through a shift or the controversial Google Dance.

I would try and build some high PR links and be patient, it will come back.

Actually, that wasn't even one of them. I did see that site listed in the SERPS though.

There were a lot lost from pr-squared.om and smallbusiness.com.

It was on search results from almost one month but now it is deindexed from 4 days. The PR of the site is 2 which it just gained in the last update.

As mentioned above, your site has NOT been deindexed. I just checked myself and you have over 12,000 pages indexed in Google.

Chances are its a result of your linkbuilding efforts and or the removal of your Wordpress blog. You really don't need to freak out as this is simply a Google dance that you are experiencing.

    Here's some advice:

    1. Keep building links, and make sure that you are going after more than just the homepage with your linkbuilding efforts.

    2. Content - Your site is in DIRE need of content. Sites like the one that you are working on are the exact type of sites that Panda was created to knock out of the SERPs. Your pages have all "stock" product descriptions and it appears that everythings auto generated such as content, titles, descriptions, etc. This is probably where your problem lies.

Add original content yourself, add an area where users can leave feedback about the products. If you haven't been penalized already, it will be coming soon.

I am not 100% sure, but perhaps there was some kind of "shuffle" affecting your keywords. Your backlinks and PR are still showing. The reason I say this is that I have noticed that often when a site is placed in the "sandbox", the backlinks and PR will not show or show n/a. It is like Google has taken it's ball and went home!
