Oh yeah, seen this for regular sites with Sitelinks too, you get a snippet now (meta desc?) instead of just the title. Page one is getting more and more cluttered...

Who says you can't earn money as an eBay affiliate any more? My stats say otherwise

Yeah. it looks too messy...Imagine you are ranking no 2 and the first time would take up half the page.... You would not be happy

Yep, I noticed that this morning. I'm number two for a lot of keywords and this makes me a sad panda

Looks horrible. But at least we get the satisfaction of knowing that if our own sites with sitelinks are at the top, we're pushing number two even further down.

Find the good in it, I guess??

This is both a good and bad thing. Mostly bad since it's pretty hard to rank right at the top, and this means that being at number 2 means you would be worse off than ever before.

    Google's always running tests

Another test they are currently doing is "infinite" scroll. Basically as you scroll towards the bottom of Page 1 results it loads the next 10.

This will change the way that users search Google, get ready for more traffic to deeper pages.

I've noticed this too, it's a good thing imo

I'm not seeing this much in SERPs. It's really only if you search for a specific business or organization. Like Best Buy for example. Not really finding it in normal searches for info.

It's quite hard to get sitelinks, so I won't count on that benefit too much. Only really happens for authority sites, so the small guy is stuffed.

As for infinite scroll, that kinda makes sense for Google, I can see them taking other measures that would increasingly deemphasise the top SERPS positions in order to cut down on the rampant manipulation by SEOers (ahem). Maybe rotating, more fluid SERPS, with no one site dominating the no. 1 slot . But that sorta contradicts my first point, so who knows, really.

It's not too hard to get site links. They mainly (only) appear when
the index page shows up. (Obvious) Do a search for yourdomain.com and see
if you have them. Of course a few of my sites get filled in by
      google instant as well.

These are more likely to show up when doing very, very narrow searches
      for a specific site.

It makes sense to me. It's a product of the way (stupid) a lot of
normal(?) searchers search. They search for facebook instead of
going to facebook.com. What makes sense, is why would google put
anything on the front page for a search like that except facebook.com
      and sitelinks?

Do a search for failblog. What else do you need in the SERPS?

So, doing a search for warrior forum, in reality, should only give
      the true warriorforum.

Narrow searches deserve narrow results. That's good results.
Do a longer tail search, like warrior forum tips, and you won't
      get that.

If I was searching for wikipedia, would I really care about Joe Shmo's
site on wikipedia review spamming? Or a NYT article on what wikipedia
      is? Google probably thinks not.

If people would not make facebook the #1 searched for term...

Yea, no wonder I felt something weird yesterday when I saw this haha. About that infinity scroll... that would definitely be a good idea! xD

Ugh, looks terrible. Infinity scrolling would be a great idea though. Would hopefully help my up-and-comers on page two get a bit more traffic.

I'm now seeing this for most large sites, while I'm logged into my Google account.

I'm not sure why some guys above are worried about 2nd place in the SERPs?

How many of you rank for the keyword "warrior forum", Ebay, yahoo, MSN, etc...?

It's a good one but the site which is placed on 1st with sitelinks, it takes lot of space and user don't want to spend more time to scroll and see the other websites. In that case if your site even ranked on 2nd position, then also its difficult to get traffic.

I noticed that too. I don't see anything wrong/ugly with it, it will then be just a matter of getting used to it.

I barely see something on the screen. Don't you have it bigger?
To me it seems that either:

    1. They wrap up the listing a bit, so you see all results og one page at a glance

    or

    2. They're displaying content from the sitelinks

    checked it just now.

they're displaying sitelinks like that... spots 2 - 10 will suffer terribly from that... :S

    Awesome!

I'm now seeing my own Google Sitelinks rule page #1 in the SERPs for my keyword.
