Get into the mindset of searching for your answers. There's TONS of this stuff that's been answered a million times on the forums here.

    Start here:

Adsense / PPC / SEO Discussion Forum

Additionally, use the "search" feature in the menu above!

I only write this because it's a HUGE TOPIC and it would be pointless to rewrite it all here in this thread. Good information is already posted on this!

How old is your site? Any site less than 3 months old won't get PR no matter what you do. Focus on writing good content, improving SEO and be patient, that's all there is to it really.

      Not true.

If you know the secrets you can go from brand new domain to PR5 or higher in 30 days, easily.

Don't believe me? Go do a registration date check and PR check on one of the domains I own: harryverby.com.

This simply isn't true at all. Where do people get this stuff from? (Oh yes, I know: probably just from reading and repeating comments in forum threads, right?) ...

Actually...I don't know what happened, but you're wrong here. I have a site that's 32 days old and Google has already ranked it as a PR2. I've checked with SEOQuake and had people in other countries check it and we all get the same results. It has 10 original pages that I wrote and 10-20 re-posted posts that I've gotten from article directories (and left the author links intact!).

Everything else you're 100% spot-on for. It's all about UNIQUE CONTENT and a lot of it.

Forget about Page Rank. It's ALMOST worthless. Unless you plan on making an income on site advertising, which isn't the best business model.

    Definitely not worth worrying about.

PR is pretty much worthless, correct.

Otherwise, you get PR by having many high PR sites linking back to you.
