Getting backlinks indexed

I submitted an article around 2 months ago to about 5 of the major article directories and pinged the article url's after approval.

I put 2 links in the resource box. One to my sites main page and a link to an inner page, but the only backlink which has been indexed is the one to my sites main page.

If I create an RSS feed for the articles using a tool such as bulkping.com then submit the RSS feed to RSS directories, will this help the backlink get indexed for the inner page or should I create backlinks to these article URL's?

I don't like the sound of create backlinks to the URL's because its so time consuming, but if that is the best option i'll do it.

Sounds like you need to build some backlinks to it to index it, bookmarks or something cheap and easy like that. I know you said you did not want to build links... but thats kind of like saying "I want to fly to Atlanta, but I dont want to get on a plane" :p

The search engines only index one link from resource boxes. you could write another article for your inner page. RSS feed is also good to get some backlinks, you should create a one for your blog/webpage, so everytime you post something to your blog you get some backlinks.

It's a paid service but really convenient and efficient.

      ABC

      Automatic Backlink Creator

You can simply post links to your articles and posts

You get 550 links. You can take them down when the site is indexed.

They also have an indexer setting and an article network.

Is that true? I've been told you should put a backlink to the main page and the inner pages.

What is the point of putting 2 links in the resource box if only 1 of them can get indexed, aside from getting traffic from the article directories of course?

Pinging the RSS and link is not enough, try to bookmarks all the approve article URL and RSS feed and see the result.

Is brighten blue correct when they said that the search engines only backlink one URL from the article resource box?

If so, there doesn't seem much point doing all of that if I can't get the link to the inner page indexed.

Well i think the best way to go is to create backlinks to the article, RSS is independent of the site itself so if you want your inner pages to be indexed and ranked building backlinks within them is imperative.

Keep working on it, there are many types of submissions besides article submission. Get to work on increasing the number of backlinks to your site especially the inner pages that would normally miss the crawlers. Hopefully you should see results.
