I cannot figure out why Adsense ads have not been displaying on my site. I put the codes into the appropriate spots on my clickbump theme and there is a blank space where the ads should be showing up..

Can anyone help me with this?

    What's the URL to your site?

    How long have you had adsense enabled? Remember it can take a little while for ads to appear?

    Do you use an adblocker?

        Looks like you got it sorted out. I can see your ads are showing.

        Remember, by Google policy, you can have no more than 3 ad link units per page. If you have more than that, they may not display any of them. This is a Google rule, not something native to the theme.

        The other suggestion I have for you is to limit your home page to a single post (either via a sticky or using a "Static" home page set at "Settings > Reading > Home page displays > Static Page")

        The reason for this is two-fold

        (1) It prevents you from having issues of more than 3 ads on a single page and

        (2) It gives your page "FOCUS" on the primary keyword phrase, which is critical to obtaining high rankings.

        Another suggestion is to change the template to a more up to date look. The old "XFactor" look has been around a while now and we've moved on to better performing designs with the same great ad layout.

        • yes you are right, they are working now.

          It was not anything that had to do with your theme it was just because I had not put in my pin (havent worried about Adsense in a while)

          Thanks for your suggestions. I will do that, just incase they do audit my site for some reason

          Have a good day/evening everyone.

          Thanks again for your help

    I think it is a problem with the theme or adense plugin.

    try disabling the adsense options in theme and enter the adsense code on one post and test it. If the manual method works then you need to contact clickbump. and if it is not a click bump theme you probably need another adsense plugin.

    If the manual method does not work then something went wrong when copied your code and your code is pasted incorrectly.

    hope that helps

        Looking at page source - the adsense script does not look complete.

        Another thing to check is spacing - make sure you have allowed enough space for the ads to appear.

    You are missing Adsense code. You need to make sure you have it ALL. I just copied your source code, replaced your Adsense code, and an ad popped right up.

    Another thing may be that you've been banned. If you have other sites, check them to see if you have ads on them. If not, you may have a BIG problem.

    P.S. Adsense does not go by meta tags, it goes by page copy. If you want Adsense to disregard copy when determining what ads it's sending over on a page, you could use Adsense section targeting to tell it what to consider and what to ignore.

    Haven't seen your site but I was experiencing this issue at once. The problem was that I already had too many adsense ads on my page. After 2 I believe, the third one just showed a big yellow box.

      Yea probably about 5 or 6..

      I will try deactivating all of them

      What part of the code is missing?

      Do you think putting the code in manually in an html post would validate anything?

      I looked on my adsense dashboard and it says that until the verification code is received in the mail your ads should still be visible and you should still be able to earn money. Just not recieve checks.

        Some plugins and software do not always enter adsense script completely.

        If I were you, I'd go to my adsense account and generate new ads in the sizes/colors I wanted and then copy/paste the script given to you into notepad.

        I forget if that was a site or blog....but what I would do is manually remove the adsense script and replace it with wha tyou generated and copied to notepad. I'd use my site builder or make the change in the cpanel page file - whatever works for you. I've made the change in a blog but I forget the steps to that.

        There are several lines missing from the script on your site and that's probably the software used to add it.

        I would NOT delete the ads until I was ready to replace them - so you know where to add them in the source code.

    Google thinks that content on your page is not useful or suitable for displaying ads.

    You need to go into the clickbump settings at the bottom left of your dashboard. Then under Ads, enter your google publisher id (find in your adsense code) and your ad slot. Then it will work.

    Interesting post - I am having the same problem. The ads will not display in Internet Explorer 8, but they will display in Firefox. I have 100+ of these adsense sites, so it is a problem. I tried clearing my cache and then the ad appeared on page in IE, but when I cam back to the site, the ads were missing again. I had my sister check on her PC at home and same thing - missing. I contacted the person who made the adsense sites here at the warrior forum and they said there was no problem and they could see them. But, since I have checked all potential problems and came up empty handed, not sure what the solution is. But, if it is true that these sites are not displaying ads in IE, then hundreds of people may be losing money and they don't even know it. The weird thing is that I can clear my cache and get the ad to appear, but if I hit the refresh button again, it vanishes or if I come back later, it vanishes.

      Do you guys think it could be because I have not submitted my full tax information yet?

      Edit: I just filled out all of that info, and the ads are still not showing

      Here is a copy of the code that is showing up for my adsense inside of the clickbump theme

      <div class="adsense336"><script type="text/javascript"><!--

      google_ad_client = "ca-pub-****************";

      google_ad_slot = "3623959574";

      google_ad_width = 336;

      google_ad_height = 280;

      //-->

      </script>

        Try creating a blogger blog and adding your Adsense to the blog you create. This will tell you if the problem lies with your theme/plugins or with your actual account.

        Since Blogger is owned by Google, it's really easy to integrate your Adsense on your blog there.

        Hope that helps.
