Why the difference in Akexa and Quantcast Rankings?

Hey everybody

I have a site which is about 4 months old. I was ranking number 2,688,040 just 20 days ago in Alexa and now I am down to 820,944. However, Quantcast has me at 232,399 or something like that. This morning Alexa shot placed me up by 2,000 more instead of down even though my visitors have been growing daily. WTF is wrong with Alexa and why the difference between them and Quantcast?
Btw, Compete has my site at 432,000 or so.

Any ideas? "

      Which one would that be Paul?
      Btw, aren't the Alexa rankings what is used to place a monetary value (Re-sale) or whatever to your site?
      That totally sux btw cuz at least Quantcast measures exact visitors like Google Analytics.
