Google Rank - How Do You Set Goals And Make Progress

It's been one month since I've launched my medical site, and it's been dancing all over google like a mad man.

I've strapped myself down, and I know, that I'm in this battle for the long run, climbing the ranks to make it to the highly desirable #1 spot on google.

My questions to the forum are:

1. Have you had any successful content/adsense sites, and what strategies did you implement to push you to the top?

2. With a relatively new content site, how do you handle being traumatically passed back and forth between undesirable numbers on the google dance floor :0?

3. Is there more of a safe zone in terms of page position when it comes to the recklessness of the google dance?

4. Are high pr networks an answer to achieving the spotlight, or are there better long term methods to take, when looking for long term high rankings?

* And of course anything else you guys/gals have to add!

    Building Adsense sites is not recommended though. That is something that used to work a long time ago.

      You need to first check your site for correct on page optimization,crawling errors and run your content through copyscape to verify whether the articles are original or not. Then study the competitors in your niche sharing the same geo-location and draw up your promotional plan. SEO requires patience and perseverance.Im sure you will soon get good result.

    Try getting some links from high authority sites, I had a new site dance like crazy once, but when I got some real authority links it settled down and starting climbing the ranks.

And also Kee changing content monthly once Also validate your site with W3C. If you have any broken links on your site It's difficult to crawl your web pages frequently. Keep doing Off page with your niche sites. Don use more adsense on your site. Google updated its algorithm named as panda to penalize more adsense & duplicate content on sites.
