If you're buying links...

Never ever buy only one type of link building. Recently i've ordered great EDU package to increase my site authority and before this order i was at 14 position. After the package was delivered, i end up at 35. So, if you're buying only one type of lb, diversify it with your lb strategies, otherwise you will face a wet slap from mr G. If you're not building links on your own, try to order a package which offers at least 3 type of link diversification.

Google is getting better and better to catch bought links, be careful.

It's not the new thing for most of you, it's just a quick reminder.

I think sometimes you can also buy links, but have to buy a good link, or is either used, but an impact on our website!

Google is very clever but in theory any link could ave been bought so G can't tell in every case. In fact lots of links must be impossible to tell if they are bought or not.

I think there is a difference between buying links and buying quality links, so it's a question of which on are you buying?

I think buying links which are have high pr value and relevant content to your site or webpage.and if you don't put them too many at a time to point to your site,i think it would be okay.

You make a great point there. It's all about diversity. Everytime I bought link packages, I got suddenly thrown off the SERPs and into a Google Dance. I noticed though if I keep building links -- including high quality backlinks -- I re-appear higher than ever.

There's a lot of misinformation in this thread already.

The links you bought recently probably aren't even indexed yet, so are they really causing the drop? Give it a little time, and you'll likely come back much stronger than you were before.

Did you already have links pointing to your site, if so how many and what kind?

If it were as easy as buying some links and dropping in the SERPs, wouldn't you just hit your competitors with a bunch ;-)

Keep building links, get some quality links along with whatever else you're doing. You're site will be find.

I agree it is all about two things, consistancy and diversity.

Keep your backlinking steady, and make sure you have all different types of backlinks, then you will do well.

    Best wishes,

I have to agree with packerfan. I doubt it was the recent backlinks it may just be the google dance or competitors beating you out.

Buying links from vendors who use automated software to create links isn't a good idea, manually built links over days/weeks/months is a good idea and much more natural looking.

Thats why you read in every good Seo practice FOrum that you should build links manually, never buy them if you have no idea how they work.

It's all about having legit backlinks.
    I've never bought backlinks.
Google is getting smarter and smarter, which in my opinion is great because it's starting to show the people who really work hard for there site to get high ranking.
