Plugin that Works Better than SEO Smart Links?

I have a blog that all about tips on using the Flock Browser. My goal is to eventually take a top 5 spot for the term "Flock".
As can be expected, I work the term "Flock" into the tittle tag, post title, H1 tag, first paragraph, last paragraph, and bolded somewhere in the middle of the content on every page.
One of the on-page tactics I'd like to use is to anchorlink the term "Flock" to the site's homepage. My thought was to use a tool like SEO Smart Links, but it's a bit primitive in that it grabs the first instance of the term "Flock" it comes across on the page and transforms it into the link to the homepage.
This is NOT what I want to happen. I'd like 3rd or 4th instance of the term to be the one that gets the anchor text treatment. Anyone know of a plugin like this that you can specify for the plugin to hold off on the transformation until a specified number of times the term is found on the page? The ability to make it random, say between the 3rd and 5th instance of the term would be even better.
