Hi guys,

I just had a pretty lousy Adwords Campaign. Now for attempt #2.

Some real confusions are with quality score. The title of the Ad is "Blue Widgets" for example, which is exact match of the homepage which it's targeting. Though it has a quality score of 3! Yet "Blue in Widgets" has a quality score of 7! The word "in" changed the quality score by 4 whole points. Extremely confused.

Due to the last campaign being terrible, CTR, CPC, everything about it was bad. Does it make sense to completely remove those campaigns and start over with a better strategy?

Is there any great guides around? I've read about 50 blogs this evening, all stating the obvious. I know the basics. I just don't know why for example, the word "In" has more than doubled the quality score. I would like for "Blue Widgets" to also have a higher quality score.

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks Cadmo. At the moment I'm using my homepage which doesn't have a targeted URL but does have targeted everything else. I'll try create a new campaign with new ads and point to an internal page too. Cheers
