My site disappeared from page 1

Help!

My site has disappeared from page 1, to page 7 overnight. My niche has an important event coming up in a couple of days, I don't want to miss out on my sales!

What can I do?

    These things can sometimes be temporary. It could return to page one in a day or two, unless you have been pushing the boundaries too much ...

    You have been effected by Google's latest panda update. It is happening now a days with them who are blasting the links back to their sites at-once. Morever who are not posting unique original contents on their sites. Always get place authority one way links and post quality contents on your site.

    Oh I wouldn’t stop building backlinks. That’s the Google dance for you. Most likely if you’ve got good quality content on your site you’ll bounce back. But if you’ve got a big event coming up, is that something you could submit a press release for & benefit your site?

    I'm sure every webmaster will meet this situation at any time. every one must know the reason for dropping(assumption only). may be a fluctuation or something you did mistakenly.

    same thing happened to me, my site was number one without any backlinks at all, it just happened to have an EMD...so I started to build backlinks for it and thats when I lost my ranking....still trying to get it back

    Your site might be suffering from Google dance, so just keep on building backlinks and you might see your keywords back to the same place or even better.

    As with everyone else, you're experiencing the Google dance. It happened to me too. I got to page 1, then 7, then 4, then 6. It's probably nothing to boast then until you can steadily be on the Google first-page. Be aware of those who offer you first-page promises.
