Very simple question.

I live in NC so "they say" I cannot be an Amazon affliliate in my state.

I KNOW there is way to get around this without actually moving out of state or renting a residence in another state.

Any suggestions??

There is no way. Unless you use a friends address out of state.

You need to just start selling something else.

If your pages have decent PR, SERPs, traffic, etc., you could
make a squidoo page and direct people their to buy. Squidoo
gives you quite a bit of amazon commission. I want to say
it's 100%...because it looks that way to me. Or at least close.

I have redirected one "best books for" page to my squidoo
best books for. It seems to work.

But I have also made amazon a non issue.

There are other places that let you sell in CA. Just
    google it.

You can try using Viglink to get around it.

Just pick another strong brand to promote. Much of the time you'll be making more money with other brands than you do with Amazon anyway. It just depends on the product that you promote. Some other good ones are Wal-mart, NewEgg, BestBuy, Target, Barnes and Noble, Netflix, and Ebay. All of these guys have affiliate programs through Linkshare, the Google Affiliate Network, or ShareaSale.
