    By testing.

Change one thing at a time, and keep track of the results. For example, change ad colors to match your website body text links. 2 weeks later, change the ad colors to really stand out. 2 weeks after that, gather your results and compare. Did the CTR go up? Rinse and repeat, with ad sizes, position on the page, etc.

You can also experiment with having 1, 2 or 3 ad units on a page to see what works best for you, as well as using ad link units.

    Good luck!

Increase traffic to your current sites and optimize ad placement.

Make an army of sites and get them all on page 1 in Google.

Remember this: target decent-paying keywords. Decent-paying means a keyword has an estimated CPC of not less than $1 as shown in GAKT's Contextual Targeting Tool.

If you're able to do this you'll get more Adsense earnings for the same amount of traffic your site gets.

Of course, if you're able to ramp up your traffic, that would be a win-win situation. Ain't that cool?

A few way that can help you.

    1) Correct Ads Placement
    2) If you're having the ads up for like 3 months, you might want to consider:
    a) Changing Ads Size
    b) Changing ads location
    c) Changing ads colors

This will help you to bring in more clicks as it will prevent some banner blindness. But most important is you need to make sure that your ads are in correct location. Then get in more traffic. CTR will come automatically =D
