What to do after Adwords account suspended?

Well, I got the dreaded Adwords account suspended notice from Google today. They previously suspended my site for site policy violations. (I was selling a weight loss ebook about herbs and I guess they have a problem with these kinds of products.) They warned me that the account would be suspended if there were further "violations". I didn't do anything else and they suspended my account anyway.

What's the best thing to do now? Has anybody had any luck getting their account un-suspended? Any luck opening a new account under the radar?

I don't reply on Adwords traffic, but it's nice to have the option to get some quick traffic for testing, etc.

Once it's gone, it's gone most of the time.

You can try adbrite, yahoo or facebook PPC.

But it does suck losing Adwords

Organic search is your friend. lol I feel bad for the people who do rely on Adwords or any other sort of paid advertising to drive traffic.

What I do first is keyword research. You want to target high search low competition keywords. They can be long tail, short tail, whatever tail you want.

Then you take on the on-page SEO part. Make sure your content has between 3-5% keyword density. For example, if your article is 100 words, then 3 - 5 of those words should be your main keyword. Also make sure that it makes sense and it flows well. You don't want to keyword stuff your pages.

Then comes backlinks. People like to argue that backlinks don't matter for a page but it does. Just like people like to argue that PR (Page Rank) doesn't matter, but it does. There is a reason Google one of the only PR 10 sites on the web.

But yeah, pick out some good keywords that you could rank for and start writing some content. Doesn't have to be the best content ever, but as long as it flows well and you wrote it - search engines will love it.

Start commenting on some RELEVANT blogs to your niche to gain authority backlinks. This will boost your rankings in the search results.

Use social networks like Twitter, Facebook, StumbleUpon and stuff like that to spread the word about your site.

Oh - ALSO make sure you submit your site to Yahoo, Google and Bing. Those are really the only 3 that you need to worry about. If they can find you, so can the rest of the search engines.

And last but not least, when doing mass-link building, DO NOT ping the backlinks!!! Let them become indexed on their own, you don't want a large amount of backlinks popping up all at the same time. Let the search engines crawl and index them on their own time.
