Why Are My Squidoo, Hubpages, etc. Not being Indexed?

I have created a bunch of Squidoo lenses, Hubpages, Tripod pages, Google Sites pages, Wetpaint pages, Weebly pages, Tumblr pages, and some other pages trying to get backlinks to my site and get some of my articles to spread around the internet.
I have been told by many internet marketers that they create these pages to get first page Google rankings for low competition keywords in just days, sometimes less than 24 hours. I created these pages a week and a half ago, but they are still not indexed! I have followed people's exact blueprints for creating pages like Squidoo lenses, but my pages are not being indexed!
Does anyone know why my pages aren't getting indexed when everyone else's seem to be indexed in less than 24 hours?

    Did you ping the search engines about your new Squidoo lens or these new sites that you have set up?

    It does take some time for new content to be indexed by Google. What you can do is to submit them to Digg because Google crawls Digg frequently and if there is a link to these pages of yours, the time taken for indexing might be cut short.

    I did ping them, using Bishop Anders' PingSlinger Generation 2 software and I submitted my RSS feeds using some feed submitters. I did not submit them to Digg though. I will immediately submit them all to Digg. Does it matter if I submit all my sites at once to Digg, or do I need to do space them out over a certain period of time? I have not used Digg before, and I would rather not mess up.

    Better bookmark them in some period of time, if you can spread them to other social bookmarking sites like digg, stumbleupon, propeller, technorati, yahoo buzz, reddit, etc.

    I have submitted them to the sites mentioned above, along with a bunch of other sites and almost all my pages are indexed and my links are being recorded. Thank you for the help everyone!

    The power of social bookmarking

    You can bookmark again on other social bookmarking sites if you want to build backlinks to your lenses, articles and other pages.
    Great to increase the authority of those pages.

    I submitted my lenses to sites specifically for Squidoo lenses, and I am creating a larger list of bookmarking sites to submit to.

    Social bookmarking definitely is powerful, and I am very disappointed that I wasn't using it before. Oh well. At least I know now.

    I am also disappointed I wasn't using this forum before. I signed up in November, but I didn't actually start interacting until about a week ago, and I have to say I have learned a ton and I love interacting with the members here!

    I love it when people starting a thread of how great this forum is because this forum truly is.

    If you ever need a list of social bookmarking sites you can have a look at my WSO page, you can use the list for free
    most of them are dofollow sites and the rest are bookmark sites with great traffic.

    And yes, this forum truly is great. I have checked out a few other forums but they are just full of morons who don't know what they are talking about. I have learned quite a bit from this forum, even though I've only been here for a week

      LOL I know how you feel, most if not all people here have dignity, once, I opened a WSO that has the same service as other person.

      Later on that person contacted me and even congrats me for my WSO, then told me he wanted to improve his service.
      Truly great people.

      On other "famous forum", people are messing around with the market price, they offer crazy low price with heaven knows what quality of services they deliver.

    yes, it is quite disappointing how poor the other forums are and what they offer. I definitely like this forum. I cannot find any forum that equals it in some of the other niches I have entered.

    I am getting addicted to this forum. I have been on it during classes (I am a first year university student), and I think my grades might end up suffering if I keep spending as much time reading the posts as I do now. LOL.

      Wow, good luck on your studies, I wish I knew about online businesses when I was in college, would surely helped my parents a lot. :p

    yeah, I think I shouldn't have gotten into it though, I completely messed up last semester because I was reading internet marketing stuff because I found it much more interesting than my studies.

    I am glad I got into it though because now I won't need to ever get a "job" again. :-)
