I be shooting for lets says anything over 2000 searchs to under 60,000 results.

I'm in the making money online(IM) niche. I know it's very competitive niche but I'm only starting out and I want to fully understand how the whole process works before I move in to a better niche

There is no BEST ratio - 2000 searches a month and under 60,000 results sounds like a good plan.

Main thing is finding Buying keywords or very targeted ones.

Sorry but you're doing it wrong.

60,000 results in Google means nothing, it's an arbritary number Google spits out.

Real competition is the sites ranking Top 10 for that keyword.

Diversify the tools you are using for your keyword research and use some more common sense. Sometimes, Google doesn't have search data for the most obvious keywords in a small niche.

This blow my mind, are you serious? then I found so many nice keywords, but I ignore it because I thought there wasn't so many searches about this.

2000 searches per month or per day? If you're talking about per month, then you're probably shooting for something that doesn't have enough traffic. That would only be about 67 visitors per day if you were in the #1 spot AND received all of the estimated traffic.

The only reason to go after keywords that have such low traffic estimates would be in the case of buying keywords like Chris said. Also, I wouldn't worry as much about the competition numbers. The big thing is making sure that you don't waste a lot of time and money trying to rank for keywords that don't have enough traffic to bring in reasonable income.

Not to be critical but maybe it would be best to start in a different niche. I'm a believer in the big niches but make money online is particularly cut throat and would be extra rough if you're just starting out. I'm not saying that you'll be unable to do it, I'm just pointing out that another niche (even weight loss) would give you experience and success more easily so that you can jump into make money online later.
