Yeah, i've seen it on loads of pages, even my own website haha, but yeah, its quite new so your eyes may not be used to it yet

As far as I know that's new, further proof of how Google's really trying to emphasize +1 and it's overall use.

Aaaah anyone else think that this will be given some heavy weight in the future?

What if the number 1 ranking site had 0 +1's and the 2nd and 3rd ranking site had 1000+ +1's.
