Will This Get a Site Deindexed?

I have a friend who has had a bible study website since 1996. He's had adsense on the site as long as there's been adsense and he's doing pretty well.

I was looking at his source code and see he has this in the head tag. Looks like the keyword stuffing that can get you in trouble. Will it? (thinking about doing it on one of my sites--bad idea?)

(!-- bible study, bible, answers, questions, bible answers, bible questions, bible question, bible maps, maps, apostle paul, paul's missionary journeys, the apostle paul, paul, apostle paul, life of paul, missionary journeys, paul's missionary journeys, bible studies, roman, roman empire, races, marriage races, bible articles, timelines, bible study links, church links, bible pictures, bible study topic, study topic, bible study materials, basic bible, beginner, bible study reference, bible prophecy, biblestudy.org, free, bible sabbath, best web sites --)

He also had his images stuffed like that, but he doesn't do it now

I'm not sure that even helps him at all. The Google algorithm is far beyond the stage of falling for keyword stuffing like this. and it would definitely look dodgy if he were to get a manual review

I don't think its enough to get him deindexed though

    It wont get him de-indexed.
But it won't help him rank for those keywords either.

Thanks all. I thought there would be no advantage to tactics like that nowadays. I was pretty sure it violated Google's terms though (if you have adsense) and thought it might at least hurt you in the ratings. Still, he's been running that site for a long time and seems to be doing pretty well.

Just Saw the Keywords in Meta Tags of EzineArticle and they are
"article submission, articles, writers, writing, publishing, ezine, email marketing, email newsletter, email, free articles, article directory, printable articles, online articles, submit articles, article marketing"
So,I think it is not harmful!!

Google's TOS are the same with or without adsense. The AdSense TOS are different than what the WebMaster division will de-index your site for. He's not breaking adsense rules in any way, so he's definitely not in danger of losing his adsense account over this. It's not enough to get deindexed over either, but as others said.. it will do nothing for rankings.

Yeah, he won't get de-indexed. But he definitely needs to cut back on the keywords and just focus on a handful. (Preferably keywords that are closely related to the main keywords.)

Edit: But then again, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
