Which links should go to tier 2, which to home page?

So I recently began my link building campaign for a few sites, but I'm beginning to think I've already messed up.

I'm currently using sliq submitter (for a few days), followed by AMR.

My question is, is it okay to send these backlinks directly to my home page (money site)? Or do I need to be creating web 2.0 (blogger, live journal, etc) and sending the sliq submitter, amr links to them?

I'm just not sure when to send links to my money site and when to send them to tier 2 sites.

Thanks guys!

      Thanks Outwest.

It appears from the picture that only manual backlinks go directly to the money site, is that right?

That would be the way to do it.

I have done direct links from AMR to my money sites as long as your domain is not new you will be fine otherwise some google dance. Also make sure that content on AMR is human readable and makes sense.

It really depends on who you talk to. Some people prefer to only send manual links to their sites, while others crank the software up and blast the hell out of them.

In my opinion, you would probably see better results by creating manual links at the first tier and then running those links through AMR. I usually do a mix of both, ie. build out the maual links, web 2.0 etc., then load up an article in AMR and spin the links in your article with a mixture of backlinks as well as links to my site.

There isn't a "set" approach. You have to tweak things and find out what works best for you and the niche that you are in.

  • I don't build anything but "Money" sites.

Anytime you participate in an automated link strategy you run the risk of leaving a footprint. You also pick your keyword phrase up front and if you miss then well you're pretty much done because it can not be undone.

    Mass links seldom work.

Find quality links that bring real traffic. Then the SEO Benefit of those links will fall into place.

That's the strategy that has always worked for me. Links that bring traffic on their own will also automatically bring good seo results.

I just don't see how people have the time to do ALL manual links. If I did that I'd probably only get 5 links a day and only be able to work on 1 site...
