  • This type of question won't help you get anywhere.

There are surly many effective marketers that are earning off single sites.

Figure out what you are good at then focus on that. You can do it on one site or several. You'll find that if you spread yourself too thin you are wasting your time.

I have single properties that earn in excess of that and many many sites that don't. I build very few new properties because it takes so much to turn a site into an authority site and once it's done you are usually better off investing in maintaining and growing that niche.

Starting new and building from scratch to success can take a very long time.

Your sig file links the keywords indicate they are NOT the kind of sites that will scale to authority sites. They are all dead, and if you didn't know that you do now. You should remove them.

You would be better served becoming an authority site on small appliances than playing the long tail one off keyword site game. Google is killing those kind of sites off left and right. Had you a site reviewing, ranking, and discussing small appliances you could have long tail links to each page with the above keywords and you would have something worth building. People would come to you when they were looking for new small appliances.

      Incorrect...

Asking this question IS beneficial!..or I would not have wasted my precious time asking it!

I trying to figure out how to streamline my business...getting the most out of each and every website.

I don't have the time (like I used to service 18+ websites)

I'm trying to figure out a biz plan that incorporates a SMARTER, LEANER approach than what I've done in the past...

Difficult, but not impossible. One of our "mini business" sites, TwitArt.com, had a few months of $1000 a month. But we provided an actual service there -- Twitter backgrounds. I imagine to easily achieve that level of revenue you would need to provide some sort of product or service.

If this is your goal and you have the capital I would suggest buying a drop shipping product site with some revenue on Flippa and trying to develop it further.

Can you earn $1000 a month on AdSense from one site? I would imagine it's possible, but highly improbable. You would have to have a major site to do that. Better to have 100 sites each making $10 a month. This way your eggs are not all in one basket.

It's not difficult. You just have to pair the right product/service/download with the right niche, and you're earning that easy. I have one that makes over $1000 USD per month and I've spent probably a total of 10-15 hours working on it, building a few high PR links, and promoting it via a few key websites. 15 hours at most. That's it. It's still earning the same amount, and haven't touched it after the 15 hour mark.

I made nearly $1,200 from one web site in less than a month, just from AdSense. I sold the site right after that, but I was regularly earning $100 to $200 daily at that time so I have to figure that it would have continued if I had kept it.

Nice, I hope you got a decent price for it (I'm sure you did if you decided to sell it instead of keep it making $100 per day)

Absolutely. That is very achievable I have sites that make three times that much and more. Usually, you need to build them out with additional pages and search terms, rank those and keep repeating until you get it to where you want to be.

My brother makes considerably more than that on one of his websites from just Adsense. So yes it's very possible, just takes a LOT of hard work.

Asking this question has no bearing on what you can do. Sam Walton built the biggest retailer in the world, and when he died he was the richest man in the world I believe, or close to it. So if he did it, what the hell does that mean to me? Nothing. Same as in this instance.

I don't think an actual dollar amount is anyones business, I will say Adsense has kept me from working a 9-5 job for a couple of years now.

      Thanks Yukon,

but...I never asked for an ACTUAL dollar amount....I'm merely trying to "Count the Costs" of operating a Leaner business model with fewer sites....

Last year I did not have a job....and I worked my internet biz all day long (over 10 websites at a time)

....times have changed, i now have a job that requires me to work sometimes up to 12+ hours a day.....

I can only work on my biz a couple of hours a night...so servicing 10+ websites at once is not likely going to happen...

so i need to rethink my old business model and make a new one that works for me....that's all I'm trying to do..

This really depends on which niche you go into.

If you go with niches/products that have upsale, and you can earn commission on that as well. then I think it's not hard to make this amount of money.

The key to making good $$ with Adsense is saturation!

If your target traffic is from the SERPs, then saturate the SERPs for all related keywords, similar to Ehow.

The source of traffic (SERP, forums, etc...) isn't important, it doesn't matter where the traffic is coming from. If you saturate the traffic source you will get good traffic, which you can convert into Adsense clicks.

My brother & I are Youtube partners, right now he is literally saturating two keywords on Youtube Search with about 100 videos 100% related to each other. He already owns the 2nd page of YT search for one keyword & is moving up the search page fast. The 2nd page for one keyword has 8 of his videos, 3rd page has 5 of his videos. Both keywords get an exact match traffic search of 200K per month (combined).

Again, saturate the traffic with your site/page/video/whatever, & you will make money!

Yup, I have one site that brings in about $100 a day, a few sites that pull over or close to $1000 a month. You need BIG sites that get lots of traffic. It is hard to do with a pidly niche site, usually if you want big money your site has to be somewhat useful.

My best site is a great resource, so lots of people sharing links to it, talking about it on facebook and so on.
