Same Disappearing Pattern for all my Sites

Edit for some more Info and questions:

So my domains keeps disappearing one by one from Google. Same pattern for all of them where the main URL (ie www. example .com) is no where to be found on Google and the rest of the sub pages (ie. www. example .com / subpage) got pushed down to 2nd and 3rd pages.

Here are what these sites all have in common:

1. They are all hosted on the same hosting account with Godaddy
2. The main URLs all had first page ranking for many keywords and domains are all over a year old (if not more)
3. All main URLs are completely gone from Google when I search for "site:website" but the subpages are there just pushed down the rankings.
4. The sites don't interlink with each other
5. No adsense/advertising/keyword stuffing on any of them. These were local business domains rented out to actual clients.

Does anyone know why this may be happening and also would you recommend I switch the domains to a different hosting to see if that will help?

Thanks and looking forward to your response.

Peter

Maybe you were logged into your google account when you thought your sites were #1.

Not exactly. I've had these sites for years now. I use private browsing to check rankings and check from several computers. These sites are rented out to clients and one of them informed me that the page disappeared.

Like I said before, the subpages are still there but the main page even when I check site:domain . com is not indexed.

I am also seeing my sites having dropped a couple of places. Not sure what is happening. Hopefully is just temporary

I'm in quite the same situation. I've got a lot of sites that are doing the same exact thing you've mentioned and I've not yet found a solution.

in the last 2 to 3 weeks I've tried adding content, gradually building bkmk links, profile links, now I'm about to try posting to some networks. The ranknigs have not improved yet. Main page still no where to be found.

The rankings were even substituted by other subpages but the main page just wont come back.

I hope someones got an answer they dont mind sharing.

You might want to check out the Google master class sticky up top this thread and go through the check list for your sites. There was a few problems with my site that I had to correct that I noticed after reading it. NOt that it would definately help but I'm willing to try anything at this point.

I hoping someone can help. I have several sites now that have started acting real weird over the past few days.

They were all #1 for several keywords and over the past few days, the main page of each site is no where to be found on Google. The sub pages are still there in on the first page but the main URL has disappeared. Just to make it more clear... the main URL for each of these sites (ie. www. example . com) is not there but the sub pages (ie. www. example . com / secondpage.html) is still there. Three different sites with this same issue!!!

Can someone lead me to the right direction as to why this may be happening.

    Any help is really appreciated.

I think I had this issue a while ago, just keep building your links and links to your home page and it will return. I think Google is still "playing" or "dancing" with some of your pages, keep the link building and in time it will be fine....this is what I did and what people told me to do when I had this issue.

Don't worry, once you were on the SERPS you will return there.

    Good Luck.

Hey guys, I've updated my post to be more clear. I don't think this is the google dance. It's happening to all my sites and its not like the URL is being pushed down rankings. It has just completely disappeared.

Keep in mind that these sites have all been #1 in rankings for their main keywords for more than a year solid so I don't think its the dance.
