Anyone know of a good alternative to SEOLinkvine Elite?

First, I think this should be in the ratings and review forum, but I can't post there because I'm still new here. So here goes....

I signed up for seolv elite (network 6, I think) and at first it was great. Worked as advertised, great serp movement, etc. Then suddenly, about 75% of the 500 network sites were inaccessible for various reasons. This goes on for a couple of weeks and then improves a little. Now, my login credentials don't work on literally half of the network sites. By the way, this has been going on since late August, with no end in sight. Repeated emails to their support has yielded "I aplogize for any inconvenience. We hope to have it fixed next week". So far, next week hasn't come.

So, at this point, I can post on (maybe) 30% of the sites that I attempt. This is supposed to be a premium service! I mean, it's $277 per month, and I can use roughly a third of it. In their defense, they gave me a one month credit. Who cares? This was to be a big part of my link building strategy, but instead it's broken....apparently forever.

Ok, sorry about the rant, but I do think it's important that other people hear about experiences like this. I got off track but my point was--are there similar services (in function, results, and even price) that actually work?

Thanks for listening, and I'd appreciate any suggestions.
