When you make a post in your blog get your keyword phrase as close to the beginning of the title of the post as possible. When you tag your post use the keyword as a tag. Then when you bookmark the post be sure to use the title of the post and again tag the keyword. This is search engine bait and if you practice basic SEO methods in your writing you will find yourself on page of Google and other search engines in a matter of days, maybe even hours.

    traffic? I don't see any traffic doing it. Unless you really interact on that social bookmarking sites and have that interesting story to be submitted. All I do is posting the links from my blog. And it helps my money site to be indexed by SE. And IMO, some relevant social bookmarking site helps you to increase your quality links.

      Agreed, Vince. We only get traffic from Bookmarking websites if we interact or if we have a real good story,
      otherwise we only get backlinks.

      So before posting on social bookmarking websites it'd be better to decide before what your strategy is:
      getting traffic from the website or only some backlink juice from high SBM websites.
