I have a site which currently stuck at Number 4 in the 1st page of Google.

I register the domain on 5 September 2011, which target a keyword with18K US exact local search, the domain contain the Keyword and HQ at the end.

Right t in a weeks, it come to page 1 with position 4, then back to page 2 and then come to page 1 in Google and stand at number 5, 6 and 4 sometime for around 3 weeks now.

I have use all following method in my link building, I have done so far:
- Web 2.0 backlink
- Web 2.0 link whell
- Doing SEnukex to my main site as well as those web2.0 properties
- Blast money site with Article rank
- Use blog comment and forum profile with Dripable
- manually create HQ profile link
- manually blog comment (+Edu blog)

and now it still suck at that number 5 sometime 4.

Please share your idea for what I should do next to improve its ranking??
you think BMR or buying homepage backlink will be useful??

To be honest I don't think you need to change anything. I suggest you just keep a steady pace at what you're already doing. You could go for BMR, but I think you can use that money better somewhere else, considering your current ranking.

Get some high PR, relevant links [ALN, for example] and continue doing what you have been doing. :-)

Yeah, you're doing a good job so far. Now you need a bit more High PR backlinks to reach the finish line. Social bookmarking can help, so will social networks.

I can definitely tell you what you shouldn't do - don't, under any circumstance, use blasts. Your domain is quite new and it is important that you continue natural link building, even though the result will not come overnight.

        Good luck

Sounds like you have done quite good so far. Continue doing what you're doing and maybe subscribe to a hpbl network, they are idea for this situation. Alternatively adding some good content (a few pages) can help you move when a site becomes stuck.

Good, you are growing slowly while retaining position. Keep working on and you'll get ranked at #1 soon.
Get some high PR (5,6) links from related sites using link exchange or advertising.
Add unique content continually to keep site fresh and updated.

    Thank you

could someone also help me with this:
How to rank higher in a specific country?

Actually, I already have a site which is already like 2 years and it's .com

My plan is to rank it much higher in a specific country (e.g au, ca, nz, etc.) any ideas?

Well I already have an idea but do you think this will work? I plan to buy a domain with .ca and host it under a canadian web hosting company and write blog posts with a link pointing to my .com site - will this work? will it bring good rankings to my .com site in google canada?

Will these strategies bring good rankings to my site too:
        1. submitting articles to canadian article directories?
        2. forum posts on canadian sites?

        any other ideas?

Once you get "stuck" on the first page, its usually as a result of not enough high PageRank backlinks.

After looking at your linkbuilding methods it seems thats the case for your campaign as well. Here's what I recommend, try and guest post on high PageRank blogs in your niche. If that's out of the question (since for some niches it is) then the next best thing is using services that provide high PR links.

Here's an example of a client that was stuck in the 3rd position for a very competitive keyword for some time. Like you, he had backlinks consisting of mostly linkwheels, article submissions, SENuke, etc. After some high PR links, he's moved to the top spot.

    Remember, quality over quantity.

I was in the exact same situation 3 weeks ago. I couldn't get past position 5 so i opened a BMR account and within two days i was sitting on top of page 1. It was definitely the links from BMR that did it but i'm sure if i got HQ links from high pr blogs myself (like from guest posting) it would have worked equally well. I think you just need a little extra pr power to push your site over the edge so to speak. Why not try the BMR free 10 link trial and point them all to that keyword, i bet it makes a big difference.

Try to analyze the rankings, then differentiate each sites that are numbers one, two, three, four and five in first page of Google rankings you will notice that there are some sites that are low in backlinks, but high in SE rankings it means that backlinks is not only the basis to rank up your site and there are other ways to do like improving your site's designs or internal structures and regularly creation of high-quality content that will make your site most likely by the search engine.

Building links from web 2.0 properties is the main method I've seen working for people. Link wheels are extremely effective, I know of some people who are using link wheels to totally dominate highly competitive keywords, which brings them thousands of visitors a a day from the search engines.

I would start focusing on high quality links from here on out. No more gimmicky quick links or trying to game the system. Get high PR links, pitch those bloggers and network to get those links.
