Please allow me a newbie question regarding EMD's. If I am targeting a 2 word keyword, for example "chicken little" and chickenlittledotcom is taken, what would the effect of using bestchickenlittledotcom have.

In other words what is the consensus on adding a third word like "best" to a domain. Does the extra word make a difference in SEO terms?

Thanks

Ideally you don't want it because to the human eye its better without it but for SERP purposes it doesnt matter.

Looks too long. Long URLs are very hard to memorize by your visitors. If you noticed, sites like Facebook, Amazon, and other big sites, you will notice that they are using branded names. Do they have their keywords in their URLs? None. Yet they get good ranking in SERP. - just a simple advice

For your question, when comes to SEO, I think it's really not a big issue if you add or reduce words in your URL.
