Check the warrior for hire section. There are some there that I have heard are good and reasonable in their pricing. I agree with the above, you always want to make sure that you are using a company that can rank their own site first. If they can not prove this, then they are not worth using.

thats a great point and one i've reasoned in the past. i figure what more proof do you need a service cane deliver than an seo beating out hundreds if not thousands of other "seo experts".
