What is benefit of getting Social Media Votes like Digg Votes, Facebook Likes, Google +1, Twitter Retweets, Stumble likes etc... Do they effect on Getting better ranking of keywords or what else?? Can anyone explain.

      Google has said publicly that they are paying more attention to social signals of all kinds. This is the way ordinary people give a "vote" for a site. Besides which, sites like Social Whale, Favit, TweetMeMe and hundreds of others make even more back links to your site if it is tweeted or shared a lot. I get traffic from sites I've never visited because I tweet a lot.
