I was recently reviewing some tutorials for Adwords and I came across DKI (Dynamic Key Insertion) again. I'm a little confused about how to use it on my ads. Can anyone explain to me, how to use it properly?

I wanted to insert keywords like bfg or xfx. How can I do this?

I really want to know how I can make it so the DKI can insert either xfx, evga or bfg. How can I set this up within adwords.

      Hi eurisko,

When you have multiple keywords in an ad group, you can use DKI to insert your keyword into your ad text. This will help your CTR since your ad will include the same term used in the search.

This can be an excellent way to learn which keyword is generating the most clicks and conversions. I recommend that you use it mainly for quick testing since you can do much better separating your keywords into individual ad groups.

If you wanted to use DKI in say your headline you would do something like this:

      Buy {KEYWORD:} Video Cards

      Or

      {KeywordCI} Video Cards On Sale

The word after the colon is the default keyword. If you want the keyword in all caps then type the word "KEYWORD" that way.

AdWords has a complete Keyword Insertion Tutorial.
