Newbie question about Google Adsense

Hi! I was trying to apply for a Google Adsense account and found that I'm required to enter Website URL. Does this mean that I need to make my site look decent before I can apply for Google Adsense? I'm just afraid if I apply for Google Adsense before my site looks like a decent site, it's going to decline my application. Sorry if the question is too silly. I've never touched Google Adsense. If you have any good learning stuff for beginners for Google Adsense, i really appreciate. Thanks.

Read the same forum as much as you can and yes you need a good decent good quality content website having good number of visitors and then you can apply for adsense.

Before it will surely not give you approval.

Getting into Adsense is not that difficult. I hear it is REALLY simple if you just set up a Blogspot blog and write a couple of posts on there. They are more inclined to "approve" you because you are using Blogspot and have an active blog.

    Yes you'll need good content.

I wouldn't recommend spinners because Google manually go through applications (hence the wait) and will physically read through your sites.

If they see that the content isn't readable or quality, they won't accept you.

Yes, you have to make a good site since Google is screening Adsense applicants before approving.

If you do not want to spent money just sign up with blogger and do some good post. As blogger is owned by google you can montize them with adsense. I think this will get you approved.

Just try it and good luck with your adsense efforts

Edit: Sorry just saw that this was suggested before, anyway this is a good way to start with adsense.

OK, this is a really naive question about Adsense, but I really don't know much about it....I have an established website - my business site - that I would like to use to apply for an Adsense account only - but not have Adsense ads placed on that particular site. Once I have an account I would build smaller niche sites for Adsense ads. If I submit my main business website in the application process for credibility purposes only, will Google expect to place ads on that particular site? Am I the one who enables the ads to be activated on my websites or would I be allowing Google some sort or access into my sites to enable Adsense?

I hope this questions makes sense. Thank you for any help here.

Hello, there are no naive questions

you can apply with your buisiness site and google will not place ads there. It is under your controll, you just have to follow their guidelines which you can find in your account when created. I applied with a bigger site and never placed any adsense ads there but on other sites I created and free blogger blogs. So, this should be no problem.

          Hope that helps

If you post 10 unique articles, it should get you approved. I guess it depends on who manually reviews your site. There are probably some reviewers who are tougher than others.
