Hey Guys,

First off I want to say thanks for taking the time to read my post.

My SEO consists of:
- SeNuke X ( A Full Monty Blast for each post sometimes 2 or 3)
- Scrapebox (AA List)
- AMR Submission

I was able to rank for some great keywords and I was having a lot of success!

BUT...

Yesterday every single keyword I was ranking for dropped off the first page of google. They are still able to be searched on google but they are on the 10th+ page. My site is still index but all my rankings dropped significantly.

I've filed a google reconsideration request but I don't know what else to do, I've put a lot of work into my website and it was a big accomplishment to me. Any advise as to how I can get my site to start ranking again as it was before would be appreciated.

Thanks for your time!

Not a smart idea to black hat your money page. Better to black hat your promoter sites this way you buffer your money site.

Without knowing your url, its kind of hard to tell.

Thanks for your response. I just don't understand how I could go from page 1 for 40 keywords to not being ranked high!

  • I get a ton of scrapebox-generated comment spam. I've been moderately successful at getting spammers' hosting yanked. It only takes a few minutes a day. Hosting companies are usually quite responsive.

Could be your troubles aren't over yet... Just sayin'.

Sorry to say but it is only a matter of time when your BLACK HAT SEO catches up with you.
SeNuke X IS Black Hat and no matter how people pretty it up, they will get caught and drop like stones.

I am so pleased that Google is now concentrating on kicking SeNuke X users, it is about time!

Although I do feel sorry for you personally in principle I am happy.

    Best regards

What is there to reconsider? You got caught trying to play the game with loaded dice, and now you're paying the price.

The fact that you used three different methods to screw with the ranking algorithm may be the only reason you're still in the index at all. In a wierd way, you added some diversity to your link profile.

As they said, Google's trying to make some changes with their algorithm to battle automation and spam. I'm sure you heard about the Panda update, and that was only one of many in Google's master plan to "clean up the crap" from the web.

It just so happened that your backlinking strategies went against one of their updates. Sorry for your loss, bro.

Sounds like you got hit with a ranking penalty. The newest Panda update is really scrutinizing where backlinks are coming from as well as the amount of links you are getting at any one time. Going kamikaze with your backlinks just does not work any longer. You want to reconsider your backlinkiong methods.

One of my sites got hit with a -40 penalty in August. The site went from making $60K per month to $2K per month. I tried to fix the site up to be more Google friendly and filed reconsiderations. I was rejected both times. I decided to leave the site the way it was and concentrate on Yahoo/Bing. From there I have started a completely new website for Google which is about as Google friendly as you could possibly ever be.

If I were you I would start from scratch. Build a content rich site that is unique and helpful to the end user. Make sure your on page is good. Ditch Scrapebox, and Senuke or only use them on satelite sites. Never use them on your money sites. From there don't overdo your backlinking. Slow and steady wins the race. You never want to throw up any red flags. I outsource to one guy who has a large network of real sites he drops my links on (within the content). I also do 1-2 press releases per month. So far most of my new sites are killing it in Google.

BTW- you can almost always tell when you site is going to be hit with a penalty. If you have a webmasters account, click on Diagnostics>Crawler Stats. If all of a sudden see a huge spike in the crawlers visiting your website you may be on the verge of a G penalty.

    adz124,
You really don't seem to have grasped what YOU have done and why YOUR actions have caused your website to drop.

Let me explain it in a way you may understand (not meaning to be patronizing I assure you)

You have used scam techniques to falsely promote your website in the search engines, link SEONuke X etc, these are software titles that provide back links to your website on blogs and directories to make your site look popular. These are NOT ligitmate promotional techniques. they are ONLY designed to manipulate the search engines algorithms.
Now your current situation is that the search engines have caught you doing this and have kicked you from the results.

By the sounds of things, you did not know what you were doing was wrong, hence you have contacted Google and asked them to reconsider. Here's a hint they won't change their opinion.

You have lost your trick against Google, whether you released you were tricking them or not is irrelevant, but trust me you were.

    You now have two choices.
1 forget that site and build a new one with a different domain name and host it on a different server.
2 Spend at least 6 months trying to regain that position naturally (you will need to spend a lot of time and money doing this as your website is not up to the grade for your niche) in my opinion.

On a positive note: With so many keywords you should have made some good money following this frowned upon method, there is still a chance that you can (not should) replicate this with another domain but understand you WILL get caught again so it's time vs income battle you have to decide upon.

    Best regards

Arran, i don't think you've ever had experience with the use of these tools therefore i don't think it's right that you can make the comments you've made. Whilst i respect your opinion i can guarantee you that your statement of "you WILL get caught again" is totally unfounded and certainly not true.

I have used tools like SENukeX in the past and whilst i've moved away from those spammy techniques, i can guarantee you that they do work and that not one of the websites where i used this tool have not been penalised.

If used propely SENukeX is a great tool and shouldn't ever be discouraged to use, unless of course you're someone that promotes natural back linking in which case you're always going to have a bias.

There are tonnes of people out there who make a living promoting sites using tools like SENukeX and whilst i don't say that this should be the only link building method, i certainly don't see it as being a bad thing. This, along with other techniques such as guest posting is fine in my eyes and many others - however other people like yourself take a dislike to said tools because your methods differ from those who seemingly 'spam' their way to the top.

I have both websites that use totally natural linking (i.e. sites that i've never in my life built a single link to) that has been very successful along with other websites which use back linking methods that people like yourself would frown upon. It's safe to say both methods work however in an ideal world all websites would be using natural linking through the promotion of high quality information that people would naturally want to link out to.

    Ok two point here.
First, regarding your website's ranking, yup you played with fire with such backlinking method, they are all black/grey hat. If you want to create a new site, only use those kind of link to buffer sites like web 2.0 pages and articles, this way your money site doesn't get slapped.
Now, to regain your position, I suggest you to do as if nothing happened. Let me explain, add new content, continue backlinking it (more white hat method I suggest here) and promote it on social media so that some traffic keep flowing.
This is usually the only way out of the Google's sandbox, showing them that you are "legit".

Second point, what would happen if you used black/grey hat method to put your competitors out of place? Hehe, you aren't the first one who though about that, let me tell you.
Let's say you want to bomb your competitor with 500k low quality links from xRumer, note that this would affect only fragile websites(CNN doesn't care for example).
Ok, your competitor DO get slapped for bad links, they get sandboxed, they cry for a couple days.
Now they ask for reconsideration and mention that they did not created those 500k backlinks. Google listen (ya right), they void 75% of the backlinks and put your competitor back in the race. Your competitors now have 125k backlinks that they did not even worked for and they now are stronger than ever. GG

    Hope this help.

That's what I was getting at. Many have tried to bomb their competitors just to find that they come back stronger after a week or two. I'd say this is even without manual intervention/reconsideration. The other thread on here where the guys says he won his battle is the first instance I have ever heard of that.

Of course, new sites would get squashed for a long while, but if they are already outranking you they probably aren't a new site.

As much as everyone thinks these bad links are going to penalise you (which I agree somewhat, if done poorly), the argument will always be there that you can just do it to your competitors.

So let me get this straight, your rankings plummeted and then you filed a reconsideration? LOL

    Good luck with that.

Don't go and cry to papa after you've been caught, all thats gonna do is make it worse.

Move on, and quit screwing around like that.
