Rank a phone number

Hey guys, (and ladies)

I found this forum through a friend of mine and the community here absolutely wonderful.

I have a question I couldn't find in the forums though.

I want to rank a video on the first page of google, and want to get traffic to a phone number in stead of a website, do you need to insert a website adress in the video marketing software (like Traffic Geyser or TubeMogul) to be able to rank on Google ?

    Have the phone number early in the first line of the description, it may be a violation of terms and conditions though..

    The last I heard you could include a phone number in the copy of a Adsense ad, that hopefully gets few or no clicks or is set for CPM pricing, where you might be paying around $2 per 1000 impressions.

    I once saw an ad that got past the reviewers:

    Piano tuner, Central County, this ad costs me $3 a click, so please just call 555-3453

      Do you mean its a violation of terms and conditions at google or in the video marketing softwares that are out there?

    You just need a page that has the phone number in the title of the page, and then to get that page ranked in Google. Then you can have your phone number inside Google's listings.

      Thats smart, but I dont have a page, I dont have a website (yet), I want the video to rank in Google. Without having a website. So I was wondering if you could rank the video with video marketing software without entering in your website adress. (the number is in the end of the video and description of the video).
