I need help to SEO a post-page

I recently started a local website grouping rappers around my city and producing their music.

No marketing has been done to the site and I am ranking on the first page of google. The problem is, I want first spot but the blog's homepage is a post-page. How do I go about chaning the SEO for this so that a different description is shown. Right now, this is what is displayed:

I want to change it to something else and also add those links under the description like HotNewHipHop (search hotnewhiphop on google to see what I mean)

    Hey,

    A wordpress plugin called Platinum SEO will do this (there are others like All in one SEO) but I prefer Platinum SEO.
    It basically gives you options to add your title, keywords and description underneath the post.
    Then when Google re-visits your site, it'll display the information you put there.

    Are you using WordPress?

    Create a new page , call it home, and change your reading settings to display a static page, that page should be available from the drop-down, and labelled 'home '

    Use the 'all in one SEO plug-in 'to create appropriate title and description.

    My page is ran on WP. I want it to remain as a blog-post page but to add a home button that brings you back there.
