Speedling (Adam Ginsberg) Vs. "Build-a-Niche" or Other Ebay/Amazon Site Builders?

Hey Warriors!

It was my understanding that "build a niche type site" products are a "No No" and will ultimately get you in hot water, especially if you use Adsense!

In the past, I was interested in using an easy setup site builders like build-a-niche, or similar. I didn't follow through because I had heard that G didn't like em, and that they wouldn't rank, or that an ebay or amazon doesn't allow them, and will drop the ole "ban hammer" on you.....

OK, but then I see and read about Adam Ginsberg.

I see some of his sites, and not only do they have ebay, and according to him (apparently true) he's made mega bank, but they also have Adsense???? (I've seen them first hand, many of them, so I know they are out there)

How'd he do dat?

How do his sites "circumvent" the conventional wisdom that says these type of sites will get shutdown or banned? And that doesn't even begin to address Adsense?

I've seen his "speedling" (I think, those are his "speedling" ones) sites. He's got tons!! At least 2k that I know of - they are all "cookie cutter" or at least the ones I've seen......

In deference to him, he does use original content. How do I know that? Because I write many of the articles for his site's (compared to the number of sites he has, I write only a tiny tiny fraction of them).

He may use "feeds" for other stuff on his sites, but not his basic content ... "He ain't no dummy!"

Any thoughts on why his site's (hmmmm?) Fly ?
Or, was I the dummy for believing that they would get you banned?

Is it because most who get banned or de-indexed, use auto-blogged content in addition to the "ready in a jiffy" sites?

Thanks!

Danni~

    Hi Danni,

Those sites that are being de-indexed, or having publishers banned from AdSense, are violating Google's policy against "thin affiliate sites". The fact those sites have little or no added value and are designed to redirect traffic to another website are considered "Bridge Pages", by Google.

If your website has plenty of useful content, and added value for users, then there is no risk adding Ebay, Amazon and AdSense.

Thanks, Don - makes sense. Good content = more leeway to add things like E-bay.

OK - but what I want to know is, has anyone ordered his product(s) - and if so, is his Ebay system worth the $55 you'll eventually pay?

For info, I believe that Adam Ginsberg now has no relationship with Speedling sites (for what it is worth)
