    You have to take care of you onsite as well as offsite optimisation to do so. On-site - You have to make sure you are using proper title, desc, unique content and etc (there are lots, you can find those by browsing this forum), for Off-Site - You have to concentrate on your link building strategy.

    For getting the site at top position one need to manage more things. Like has to provide the meaningful and fresh content and something new , then has to try to get the more traffic for the content. And the major thing is the right choice for the keyword. As by the exact match keyword to the entered query , your site will be show in top results.

    Page Rank 1 is the easiest to get as it is the first stepping stone in the PR staircase. Building links from high PR sites with relevant content is a great way to get there. Build links and you will see an updated PR the next time Google gives its PR update.
